DR.MENAGA MAGENDRAN

Dr. Menaga Magendran, founder of Bioneemtec India Pvt. Ltd. in Women’s Biotech Park, Chennai, has 15+ years of expertise in microbiology, enzyme technology, and drug discovery. She is a Business Excellence topper from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore-Goldman Sachs 10k women.

She serves as an external expert for the National Innovation and Start-Up Policy (NISP) and has received several accolades, including the Sirvisveswaraya Award for Best Microindustry (2022) and the Most Innovative Biotech Woman Entrepreneur of Tamil Nadu (2024).

DR. MAGENDRAN BALAACHARY

Dr. Magendran is the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder of Bioneemtec India Pvt. Ltd., with extensive experience in API technology development, commercial scale-up, and production. His research in generic pharmaceuticals earned him the International Foreign Ex-Pat Award in API Chiral Chemistry (2016) from the Republic of China.

He has successfully managed projects for leading companies such as Pfizer, Merck, and BMS, and serves as an advisor to numerous industries and prestigious universities. Dr. Magendran holds US, Taiwan, and European patents, along with several Indian patents.
